Hello, I’m Zara, a Singaporean artist-printmaker based in London.

After graduating from art school, I worked in the commercial art world for over a decade before undertaking my MA in Print at the Royal College of Art.

Working predominantly with etching, my practice explores the core of human experience in contemporary life. Drawing on the nuances of everyday living, and the poetry of our environments, I craft narratives through illustrative abstraction of space and still life. These visual metaphors capture moments of familiarity that deepen the awareness of our shared humanity, in an increasingly disconnected world.
