we’re still here
2026, series of 5, etching & aquatint, 24.2 × 35 cm each
A bit of gossip over a smoke.
An inside joke on a Post-it.
Self-imposed rituals.
The familiar meeting of ambition and self-delusion,
marked by late nights,
office birthdays
and half-eaten cake.
The workplace is a strange juxtaposition of hard and soft, and it has become a recent fascination of mine.
We’re still here is a series of etchings inspired by the intrusive human moments found in bureaucratic or corporate environments. Traces of the personal in structures shaped by efficiency and order.
Even in the face of relentless optimisation, our presence cannot be erased. It sneaks in, pushes back, and connects us to what feels deeply human.
